WhetzelBioPicGrowing up on a healthy diet of comic books and video games, Chris knew he wanted to be a professional creative at a very early age. Attending Philadelphia’s University of the Arts helped him refine his artistic process while also giving him the wonderful gift of four years in a city that embraces art. After cutting his teeth as an in-house illustrator, Chris made the switch to creating images in his own studio where he has been working with a cat on his lap since 2007. On special occasions, he is actually seen venturing outside of the studio for a day of fishing and sketching.

Chris has worked with many clients both large and small including Sony,Major League Baseball, Mountain Dew, The Food Network, The FX, Network,  Sports Illustrated, and The Wall St Journal.
