Otto Steininger’s Flow Charts

Otto Steininger’s ability to logically organize an incredible amount of information into a thing of beauty has always been admired at Three in a Box.

Otto recently took on a very challenging project for Wall Street Journal reporters and authors Reed Albergotti and Vanessa O’Connell to create a flowchart for their book “Wheelmen: Lance Armstrong, the Tour de France, and the Greatest Sports Conspiracy Ever.” The book debuted this morning, October 15th 2013, and is already receiving a lot of media attention.

As you may imagine, the number of people and organizations connected to Lance Armstrong as he built his sports empire is staggering. Otto’s challenge was to illustrate the extremely complex and complicated web of power, money and influence behind Lance Armstrong’s empire in a fun and engaging way.

The result is simply spectacular! Click through the image to see a larger version of The Wheelmen chart. To learn more about the book, click here:

Another one of Otto’s flowcharts was recently published in the Wall Street Journal’s Marketplace section, wherein he sheds some light on a scheme where fraudsters skim millions by tricking digital ads through phony web traffic.
